No first-party source reviewed before the August 4, 2026 Steam unlock disclosed the number of Beast of Reincarnation endings, their names, their conditions, or whether a choice creates a branch. New Game Plus, chapter select, post-game return, and difficulty-locked outcomes were also unconfirmed. The accurate pre-release ending guide is therefore an evidence boundary and a spoiler protocol, not a fabricated choice tree.
The confirmed premise ends well before resolution: Emma and Koo travel west through a Japan transformed by the Blight. Anything beyond that should come from completed public play and be labeled with escalating spoilers.
Keep the opening answer spoiler-free
The first paragraph after launch should state only the verified ending count and whether multiple outcomes exist. It should not name a final boss, reveal a character’s fate, or expose the decisive choice. If the count remains uncertain, say how many distinct credit sequences have been directly verified rather than repeating a search snippet.
Define what counts as an ending. A game-over scene, boss phase, post-credit scene, and alternate dialogue may not be separate outcomes. Use credits, achievement conditions, chapter labels, or a meaningful save-state branch to support the classification.
Capture the final decision state
Before a suspected branch, record story point, objective, inventory, completed optional content, difficulty, Koo powers, visible version, and the exact choice prompt if one exists. Preserve a safe backup only through supported local files or Steam’s normal mechanisms after the save path is confirmed.
Do not assume a branch because dialogue changes. Conversely, do not assume the path is linear merely because no menu choice appears; equipment, optional encounters, or earlier actions could affect an outcome. Compare controlled saves before assigning a condition.
Verify one variable at a time
If multiple endings are found, change a single suspected requirement while holding the rest constant. Examples of variables to test only when the game exposes them include an explicit choice, optional Nushi victory, discovered record, equipment state, or difficulty. These are test categories, not claims that any one is used.
Record the resulting final sequence, credits, achievement, post-credit material, and save state. A different subtitle line does not necessarily create another ending, while a shared boss fight can still lead to distinct resolutions.
Protect saves before rerunning the finale
Steam lists Cloud support, but Cloud is synchronization rather than version history. Before experimenting, find the actual save behavior, close the game cleanly, allow sync to complete, and preserve a copy only after verifying the location and file set. Do not guess the path or delete conflicts.
Document whether the game offers a pre-finale checkpoint, manual slot, completion save, chapter select, or return point. If it automatically overwrites, warn players before the commitment without disclosing the story content.
Separate endings from post-game systems
After credits, record where the save resumes and what becomes available. New Game Plus, boss replay, free exploration, higher difficulty, or carried equipment must each be confirmed from the live UI. An achievement image or genre expectation is not proof.
If completion returns the player to a pre-finale state, state that plainly. If a clear-data save is created, record what it retains. This operational information can be useful without revealing the resolution itself.
Use layered spoiler headings
Level one can cover ending count, approximate point of no return, and save preparation. Level two can describe condition types without story names. Level three can name choices, bosses, character outcomes, and final scenes. Put post-credit analysis behind the strongest warning.
Search metadata and navigation labels should remain spoiler-free. Do not place an ending name in a site title, card excerpt, image filename, or alt text where a player can encounter it accidentally.
Require direct evidence for ending claims
Prefer raw capture from the public build: choice prompt, objective, save state, credits, achievement, and version. A video can corroborate a sequence, but editing may omit prior conditions. A community claim should be reproduced before it becomes a definitive route.
If an official patch changes ending access or fixes a blocker, attach the note and retest. Preserve the prior condition with its version. Avoid calling a route “true,” “good,” or “bad” unless the game uses that term or the guide clearly labels it as interpretation.
Pre-release source boundary
The only spoiler-free narrative foundation used here is the publisher’s premise on the Steam Store and the official Developer_Direct article. Steam confirms achievements and Cloud but does not disclose ending conditions or backup history. As of 2026-08-01, ending count, names, choices, post-game, New Game Plus, and difficulty effects remained unverified and are intentionally not guessed.
