Beast of Reincarnation Collectibles Guide

Build a verified Beast of Reincarnation exploration checklist for equipment, side structures, route pickups, story records, and versioned completion evidence.

Exploration in Beast of Reincarnation can yield specialized katanas and Charms, and preview reporting observed optional huts or sheds with discoveries. That establishes a reason to inspect side routes, but it does not publish a canonical collectible category, total, location list, or completion reward. A proper checklist must be derived from the public game’s inventory, map, achievement text, and explicit collection UI.

Equipment found in the world is a discovery, but it should not automatically be called a collectible if the game reserves that term for records or another set.

Define collection categories from the UI

Inspect menus for archives, bestiary, documents, equipment completion, map counters, or other named sets. Record the English category and total only when shown. Keep usable gear, currencies, consumables, story records, and cosmetic unlocks in separate tables.

If the game has no global percentage, do not manufacture one by adding unrelated item types. A checklist can still track verified discoveries by region without claiming official completion.

Search side space systematically

At each branch, identify the main route, vine route, elevation, side structure, and return path. Koo was observed warning Emma of nearby threats, which can help make exploration safer, but the final cue should not be treated as a collectible detector unless the game says so.

Inspect huts, sheds, dead ends, ledges, and areas revealed after a plant interaction. Record the landmark and story state before picking up the item. A clear pre-pickup screenshot helps prove location and prevents the inventory screen from losing route context.

Record a pickup as evidence

Capture the exact item name, category, quantity, acquisition message, region, landmark, route, version, and whether it remains available on revisit. For equipment, link to the weapon, Charm, or Spirit Stone catalog. For Amber, distinguish a fixed pickup from a repeatable source.

Do not infer the contents of a closed container from a guide on another platform or preview build. If rewards vary, document the condition. If a pickup is automatically granted by story progress, label it as such rather than placing it at the nearest map object.

Test permanence and missability

After moving to the next stage, check whether the prior area can be revisited and whether the uncollected item remains. Use a separate save or reproducible state before calling something missable. A one-way drop within an area can still lead to a later loop or travel point.

Record explicit warnings, chapter boundaries, and post-game access. Do not assume New Game Plus or chapter select exists. A spoiler-free checklist can mark a “point requiring a return check” without naming the story event.

Handle edition items outside world totals

Brown and Black Shiba appearances, Big Dipper, Oni’s Hat, Amber grants, and Vegetable Seedlings are edition entitlements. They should be verified through license and delivery, not assigned a world coordinate. Unless the game’s own collection percentage includes them, paid extras should not be required for a base-game completion total.

Similarly, Steam Achievements can indicate completion objectives but do not automatically prove every collectible count before the descriptions are public and the conditions are tested.

Create a regional checklist

For each canonical area, list verified categories and locations in route order. Start from a stable entry or checkpoint. Include plant-vine conditions, elevation, nearby encounter, and return route. Hide item names behind an optional spoiler field when discovery is part of the reward.

Validate first, median, and last entries in every region from raw notes and images. A checklist copied from a table without route verification can preserve a single mistaken coordinate across many sites.

Reconcile totals after updates

An update can relocate, add, rename, or fix a discovery. Attach the game version to the checklist and compare official notes when available. If the UI total changes, archive the older total and rebuild the region sum; do not silently add a row while leaving completion percentages inconsistent.

Use the game’s semantic version if shown. A Steam BuildID can help identify a depot state but should not be relabeled as a patch version.

What pre-release sources support

The Steam Store states that exploration yields katanas and Charms with specialized bonuses. Game Informer’s preview is used only for attributed observations about side structures, equipment finds, Koo’s nearby-threat alert, and staged spaces. No first-party collectible taxonomy or total was public on 2026-08-01, so this checklist framework does not fabricate one.
