The corrected official PC targets for Beast of Reincarnation are specific. Minimum is Low, 1080p, 40 FPS, with a compatible RTX GPU using DLSS or the listed Radeon path using FSR 1 Performance. Recommended is Medium, 1080p, 60 FPS, with DLSS or FSR 3 Performance. Both tiers require DirectX 12, 16 GB RAM, and 45 GB of SSD space.
Those are conditional performance targets, not a final graphics-menu inventory. Resolution scaling, presets, ray tracing, frame generation, HDR, ultrawide, and individual options must be read from the public Windows build.
Start from the official tier that matches the PC
Minimum lists Intel Core i5-8400 or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 with GeForce GTX 1070 8 GB or Radeon RX 580 8 GB. Recommended lists Core i7-12700K or Ryzen 7 5800X with RTX 3060 12 GB or RX 6700 XT 12 GB. Use the matching preset and upscaler condition as a diagnostic baseline.
Do not promise native 1080p from those targets. The Store explicitly attaches upscaling language. Likewise, an RTX card is not automatically recommended-tier if the CPU, memory, or GPU class differs substantially.
Capture the launch graphics menu before tuning
Record display mode, resolution, refresh rate, frame limit, synchronization, preset, render scale or dynamic resolution, upscaler, quality mode, sharpening, and every individual quality control actually shown. Include the version and GPU driver. Do not add settings from console coverage or configuration-file speculation.
Take a baseline screenshot or text record, then change one control at a time. Some presets can silently reset individual options, so reopen the menu after applying. Restart only when the game asks for it.
Choose an upscaler deliberately
The minimum target names DLSS for compatible RTX hardware and FSR 1 Performance for the Radeon path. Recommended names DLSS or FSR 3 Performance. The live menu must establish which GPU can select each method, whether the version includes frame generation, and what other quality modes exist.
Measure image stability and frame time, not only the FPS counter. Performance modes at 1080p can reduce internal resolution significantly. If a balanced or quality mode meets the desired performance on stronger hardware, it may preserve more detail. Do not equate FSR 3 mention with automatic frame generation; the Store target only names the upscaling condition.
Tune by bottleneck rather than random sliders
First reproduce the same route and camera motion. If GPU utilization is high and lowering resolution scale improves frame time, prioritize GPU-heavy options. If performance barely changes, investigate CPU load, traversal streaming, background work, or a frame cap. Use hardware monitoring conservatively and record the tool.
Change effects with likely visual cost one at a time only after the menu confirms they exist. Compare still images and moving scenes. A setting that improves one empty area may not solve combat effects or dense Blighted Forest traversal.
Separate frame rate from frame pacing
Averages can hide stutter. Record low-percentile performance or a frame-time graph across the same sequence when available. Note shader-like first-run events, traversal hitches, cutscene transitions, and repeated-run behavior. If the second pass is smoother, say so rather than averaging the two into one result.
V-Sync, frame caps, and display refresh can affect delivery. Test a stable cap below an unstable ceiling when the game provides one. Do not edit unsupported files before establishing what the official controls can do.
Preserve visual and input clarity
Emma’s parry reads and Koo’s slowed command choices depend on clear motion and UI. Avoid gaining a small average at the cost of unreadable attack effects or unstable prompts. Check subtitle size and contrast, controller or keyboard glyphs, and the Down/FP displays after scaling changes.
Story difficulty changes enemy damage and parry forgiveness, not PC performance evidence. Use the same difficulty and encounter when comparing settings so combat behavior remains consistent.
Publish a reproducible preset
Include CPU, GPU and VRAM, RAM, Windows version, resolution, complete settings, upscaler mode, driver, game version, test route, sample duration, average or range, and frame-time notes. State whether the run was first pass after driver or game update.
A preset should be named by target and hardware, such as “1080p 60 on recommended-class GPU,” not “best settings” for every machine. Retest after official patches that mention graphics, performance, or stutter.
